- hong kong people are crazy about japanese tv series and that is why g.t.o., is so anticipated before it was shown here. based on the one of the best-selling comic books as well as popular tv series in japan, it tells the story of an eponymous hero who goes to hokkaido to be a substitute teacher for three weeks. he is challenged by rebellious students, led by the daughter of the principal. the arrival of a reporter for the tabloid press makes the matters worse.
the entire movie circles around the relationship between the 'teacher' and the students as well as the reporter. the major problem is in the script which should not have been written at the very start ; it is in a complete mess and tells nothing significant. it is advertised as a comedy but it turns out to be dull and boring. save your money and skip this one!
