an addiction is something you tell yourself you must have to be happy. i've never tried any drugs so far in my life except marijuana when i travelled to amsterdam alone 3 years ago. marijuana is arguably less harmful than cigarettes and is the safest drug ever discovered from a pureful psychological point of view. at the time when i took a finger-sized lump of marijuana in amsterdam, i was lying on a sofa, playing massive attack's 100th window. the album is around 50 minutes long but i felt like i'd been listening to it for more than 10 hours. my body was tired but my senses and my mind had never been clearer. if you've watched spike jonze's "adaptation." before and remember the character of meryl streep in the film, you'd know how i felt at that moment. anyway, there's nothing really magical or spectacular about marijuana, at least i didn't get high or see any god. btw, meryl streep is such a fine actress that she's able to capture exactly the way one'd behave including the body movement and facial expression after taking marijuana. if you've watched her in "the devil wears prada" and "the prairie home companion" this year. you'd know she's such a versatile, multi-faceted and experienced actress.

ah... i almost forgot why i mentioned about addition in the first place. well, what i wanna tell you is i've been addicted to mocha valencia (from starbucks only) for two years already. yes, only mocha valencia brewed by starbucks has an addictive effect on me. i'm trying to drink not more than one tall-sized mocha valencia each day. if, for instance, i am on a business trip in a remote city in China and dun take a sip of mocha valencia that day, my brain wouldn't be able to function properly and my self-confidence is nowhere to be found. on the contrary, when i'm "mocha-valencized", i'd become a convertible racing at 200km/hour non-stop. in case you find it unbelievable, try it today and you'll know but of coz that depends on whether you'd like to become one of us, the mocha valencia addicts!
