- dear jason,
it normally takes about 7 to 10 minutes to walk from the mtr station to where i live. i watched the local hit, "golden chicken 2" tonight and it was already midnight when i took mtr with rachel whose family has just moved their residence to lam tin district. when i was walking back home alone, i put my headphones on, listening to the enchanting voices of alexander hamnede & tchando from the danish band, bliss. i saw two young boys of around 10 years old playing soccer in a playground with no lights on, one as the goalkeeper and the other kept trying to kick the ball in. they played in complete darkness and i could hardly even see their faces. however, i'm sure that they enjoyed the game much as soccer would probably be their favourite sports and they found someone who's more than happy to play together at such hour. i was thinking... c'est la vie! why can't everyone live happily like those two little boys playing ball in darkness when their family and the whole world were probably sleeping. i smiled and i walked on.
today is the last day of the year of 2003 and i'll spend the night with my family and aunt, which is the very first time in the past few years. i dun wanna be alone.
sometimes, when you do something wrong, you won't realize the same until the pain inflicted to others is so overwhelming that they can't stand it any more and they have to tell you so. however, there're occasions when people choose not to let you know or they can't feel the pain though it's there because love can make them forget about the pain and forgive the wrong you've done.
- jason
