- dear xxx,
it was the second consecutive night when i didn't go home and played till early in the morning. i slept for only 3 hours after i came back from tai mo shan and in the afternoon, i watched two movies, the million dollar hotel (9.0/10) and dancer in the dark (9.9/10) in broadway cinematheque both for the second time with my friends, rachel, mingming and sinead (and alicia who joined the second show). then we went shopping in festival walk and bought a couple of gifts. at around 7 i left for kay's home before handing a present to a special friend. we had hot pots and then watched a vcd (scream 3) and played scrabbles till around 4. we then had a stroll and chatted for another one and a half hours. and that's how i spent my 21st silent night which was not really special but at least i did enjoy the night and the time i spent with my friends.
o i forgot to tell you that i wept very very very badly when i was watching dancer in the dark. i felt even more touching when i watched it for the second time. it's just like i couldn't control myself and that i had immersed into the movie and felt what selma was feeling. this film is just magical, mesmerizing, magnificent, etc..... go to see it if you haven't. trust me. trust cannes. trust bjork and lars von trier.
