		date : 14 december 2000 thu time : 0240			dear adrian, i did nothing for the whole day today but updating my web site. you may have a look at my updated top 10 movies' list. i got up at 4p.m. today and skipped all lessons including a lecture on revenue law and a tutorial on civil procedure law. why? well, three reasons. first, i watched a movie instead of preparing for the tutorial last night. second, i stayed up too late. third, it was freezing cold this morning (10 degrees celsius) and i failed to get up 8 hours before i finally did so. i watched the video of oscar 2000 tonight with my parents again. we all agree that the best picture nominees, american beauty (7.9/10), the cider house rules (6.6/10), the green mile (7.8/10), the insider (8.1/10) and the sixth sense (8.0/10) this year are the weakest in recent years. some much better movies like october sky (9.0/10) or the red violin (9.0/10) were simply ignored by the academy. still oscar remains one of the most important events and awards in film industry and i'll keep track on it despite disagreeing with most of the results. and now the song for today : madonna's 'gone' from her new album, 'music' : Selling out Is not my thing Walk away I won't be broken again I'm not I'm not what you think Dream away your life Someone else's dream Nothing Equals nothing Letting go Is not my thing Walk away Won't let it happen again I'm not I'm not very smart Why should I be sad For what I never had Nothing Equals nothing Turn to stone Lose my faith I'll be gone Before it happens Selling out Is not my thing Walk away I won't be broken again I won't I won't fall apart Dream away your life Dream away your dreams Nothing Equals nothing Turn to stone Lose my faith I'll be gone Before it happens Turn to stone Lose my faith I'll be gone Before it happens okay, got to run, see ya tomorrow. jason
