		date : 11 december 2000 mon time : 0300			dear adrian, 10 december 2000 is a very important and memorable day for me 'cause it's the very first time when i rate a film 9.9 out of 10 since i gave my first 9.9 to the english patient more than 3 years ago. and this time, it's dancer in the dark, the palm d'or winner in cannes this year and directed by lars von trier, one of my favourite directors. the film is powerful, engaging, mesmerizing, touching, etc. all in all, it's a perfect production. though all the actors are great, the film belongs to bjork who delivers the most natural but astonishing performance in recent years since emily watson in breaking the waves, also a film by lars von trier. lars von trier is absolutely right. bjork doesn't act in the film, but she feels! and i could exactly feel what she feels. i can see me when i see her. it's magical, isn't it? her enthusiasm for music is so strong that she can think or dream of sthg about music at any time & any place -- when she's in the factory or on the bridge or even the very second when she's going to die. i'd do the same too! yeah it's true! the musical scenes are impressive and unique. i can promise you've never watched something like that before. credit also goes to the superb music composed by bjork. i didn't know it's so good before i watched the film though i'd bought it 2 months ago. so guys, just go and see it cause it's undeniably the best movie in 2000 and for me, the best movie i've ever watched. and now for the song of 10 dec : bjork's new world from the o.s.t. of dancer in the dark (selma's songs) - Train-whistles, a sweet clementine Blueberries, dancers in line Cobwebs, a bakery sign Ooooh - a sweet clementine Ooooh - dancers in line Ooooh ...
