dear adrian,

how to position oneself when he or she is in love with somebody but at the same time not sure if he or she has the mere chance of stealing the heart of the target man or woman? i got a primary classmate called ah hong who is facing exactly the same problem. she met a netfriend around a year ago and loved that guy at first sight. they both enjoyed hiking and camping very much and they soon became best friends. they talked about everything and went hiking or camping togther every two weeks. however, that's not what ah hong wants. she loves him more and more but she never tells him her feeling expressly. what's worse is that the guy always treats her very well and she can't tell whether she got any 'real prospect of success'. i can't imagine what i would do if i am in ah hong's position. my only advice to her is that -- never give up, treat him as good as you can and the 'day' will come. i am not sure if i should have advised her to wait but in case the guy is one of perfection or you believe you can't find another better than him, you should at least give it a try.

tonight, i spent about three hours with brandon to prepare a film nom list for polyu film club in pcll terminal room. though it's some kind of repetitive or mechanical work, we enjoyed working on it very much as movie is what we both die for. hope my favourites, the english patient and the sweet hereafter will go into the 10 finalists tomorrow though i am not optimistic about the latter as not many hk people know about this cinematic masterpiece by egyptian-born canadian director, atom egoyan whose credits include exotica and the latest, felicia's journey. finally, thanx brandon for giving me the special preview ticket for dancer in the dark on sunday night. i am looking forward to seeing bjork's performance as well as lars von trier's direction (lars von trier is one of my favourite directors. in case you don't know who he is as well as dogme 95, try rent or buy breaking the waves starring the always terrific emily watson)

i want to remind all of you that i've just posted my latest graduation pic in my photo gallery and you may feel free to access to it.
