- dear adrian,
i have just seen the photos taken during the congregation with and by my parents last friday and i am going to scan one or two on thursday night after i've watched the blair witch project 2 and post them on my gallery. so stay tuned.
may be i should tell you more about myself. what, in my life, would i place at the utmost important position? apart from my parents and family, i'd say : movies & music. they are the food of my life and my soul would cease to exist if there is no music or movie in my life. it sounds crazy, may be it's a little bit exaggerated but they do have substantial influence on me, especially my attitude towards life. i'm glad that my dad led me into the world of classical music as i found my god, jean sibelius whose music is superior to me and i would never regret to have existed and been living 'cause of him and his music. i found sibelius' music ; i found the meaning of life. sometimes, i find i can have some kind of 'contact' with sibelius when i'm listening to his music. i resemble him in a number of ways. he also studied law in university, though he quitted just before graduation and finally became a successful composer. and as are my parents, both of his father and mother were teachers.
i have been listening to classical music for more than 10 years and in recent two years i have been trying to explore different kinds of music. i appreciate what i've learnt and listened so far. some of the artists i find particularly impressive are moby, enigma and u2. surely, i still got a lot to learn. and here i want to thank some of my best friends for their continual support and assistance - brandon, you are the god of music, i'd never met anybody who knows thirty percent of what you know about music. and thanx for recommending beth orton and sinead o'connor to me. rachel, you are the queen : ) thanx for exchanging cds with me and introducing me some artists who'd become my favourite, including kula shaka, underworld, etc. and finally sinead for introducing o'connor and aine minogue to me.
time to go. bye
jason
