INTRODUCTION

Although eye diseases and their treatments are the main areas where I focus my attention in, I will try to introduce the basic eye anatomy first so that the readers can get a clear picture at different internal parts of our eyes and they can understand the different types of eye diseases more readily. Throughout the project, I also add many small diagrams and photographs in order to explain some sophisticated concept or ideas more clearly.

In the first part of the research project, I will introduce the eye anatomy and the functions of the main parts as I mentioned before. Then I will begin to look thoroughly into several common eye diseases including their symptoms, causes, their possible treatments, et cetera.
